What these terms cover

These terms govern this website and any page we host under the AsBuilt name that you reach through a link we or one of our clients issued. They are offered by Great Breads Clothing, LLC, doing business as Great Breads Studio, New York.

The engagements themselves — The Read, The Build and Care — are governed by a written agreement signed by both sides. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins. Nothing on this site is an offer that binds either of us until that agreement exists.

The engagements, in short

The Read is a paid, fixed-length diagnostic that ends in a written map of how your company runs. It is priced as published on the pricing page when you book it, and credited in full against a build if one follows. The map is yours whether or not it does.

The Build stands a system up inside your company under your own name and domain. Care operates it after. Scope, price, schedule, and what you own at the end are set out in the build agreement, not here.

If you were sent a link by one of our clients

The page belongs to the contractor who sent it. The token in the link is your credential: it opens exactly one thing for exactly the person it was sent to, so do not forward it. A document you sign on that page is an agreement between you and that contractor. We host the page; we are not a party to what is signed on it.

What the system does and does not do

The systems we build are built to refuse to guess: they will not produce a price, invent a date, infer coverage from a certificate, or net two figures a person should see separately. What they do produce — a reading, a schedule, a figure, a draft — is a record for a person to act on. The person acting is responsible for the action. Automated output can be wrong or incomplete, and the system is designed so that a person always stands between it and a commitment.

Acceptable use

Use these pages lawfully and only for their purpose. Do not probe, disrupt, or attempt to reach records that are not yours. Where a system sends messages on your behalf, you are responsible for their content and for the consents the law requires.

Your data

A contractor's record is the contractor's. We hold it to run the system and for nothing else, and at the end of an engagement the database can be handed over. Details are in the privacy policy and the engagement agreement.

Intellectual property

The AsBuilt name, this site, our software, our methods and our writing belong to Great Breads Studio. Your name, brand, documents and records belong to you. What you own in the system built for you is set out in the build agreement.

Not professional advice

Nothing here, and nothing a system we build produces, is legal, accounting, insurance or engineering advice. A statute the system tracks is a reference, not an opinion. Check it with the professional who is responsible for it.

Disclaimers and limits

This website and the hosted pages are provided as they are and as available, without warranties of any kind beyond what the law requires. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. The engagement agreement may set different terms, and where it does, it governs.

Ending things

You may stop using the site at any time. We may suspend access to a hosted page that is being misused. Ending an engagement is governed by the engagement agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continued use after that date means you accept the revised terms.
